Youth For Tomorrow was founded by Joe Gibbs in 1986. Firm in his belief that area teenage boys and girls could benefit from a residential program combining character development, quality education, personal faith, and life skills, and with the help of hundreds of private donors, organizations and corporations, Coach Gibbs developed the 215 acre Youth For Tomorrow campus near Manassas, Virginia.
Youth For Tomorrow served 1018 at risk boys and girls in 2013 with its 4 on-campus residential programs. These programs include Mommy & Me for pregnant teens and young mothers, a program for sex-trafficked girls providing a safe haven and therapeutic counseling and an immigrant children from Central America. YFT also provides off-campus mental health programs (Crisis Intervention Counseling, Diagnostic and Assessment Services, Intensive In-Home Counseling and Therapeutic Day Treatment).
